For us Canadian 10th Gen Civic owners, installing a cold air intake requires a couple more steps compared to US spec civics. Canadian model 2016+ Honda Civics feature a driver's side mounted windshield washer reservoir with a larger capacity whereas USDM models have the washer reservoir mounted on the passenger side. This created interference issues with some Cold Air Intake Systems. The US Spec washer reservoir differs from the Canadian Spec washer by having a reduced washer fluid capacity and by not offering a washer fluid level sensor. This complete kit allows Canadian 10th Gen Civic customers to install PRL Motorsports Cobra Cold Air Intake System and many others with this USDM windshield washer reservoir conversion kit.
With the introduction of the new 11th Gen Civic PRL Motorsports has chosen to discontinue their USDM washer conversion kit for the 2016-2021 Civic, leaving Canadian 10th Gen Civic owners with no solutions for aftermarket cold air intake systems. Our washer conversion kit allows Canadian Civic owners to continue modifying their 10th Gen Honda Civics.
There are 2 versions of this kit. Version 1 is designed for the 10th Gen coupe and sedan (both Si and Non-Si). The second version adds extra parts for to the 10th Gen Civic hatchback and sport hatch. Both versions include everything you need to install the washer reservoir on your 10th Gen Civic coupe, sedan or hatchback. However, the hatchback kit requires extra steps due to the rear window washer and included are the additional items to do this.
Optional for both versions is an engine bay trim panel kit that's designed for the USDM Washer Reservoir. It enhances the overall appearance of the engine bay and gives your car that OEM plus look!
